According to the employee terminal there was an accident on April 28th 2050. This happened just a few months prior to the opening of the park. Nuka Cola Corporation covered it up. C. was the employee who reported it. Carlson was fired, and C., the employee who reported it was made aware that other employees would not be allowed to discuss matters related to parks.
Layout
The roads and grounds are made up of feral ghosts. It is easy to navigate the plant. There are a few twists, turns and a straight path. A few Nuka_mixer stations are located downstairs. There are also a few Nuka-World raiders ( Dictles, Operators, or The Pack). A basement room is protected by a terminal that holds a complete set of leveled armor. Upstairs, there is a pool table as well as a desk that has a terminal. The corner behind the desk is a safe. To find another safe, head down the ramp and jump across the broken ramp.
To open the locked door on the roof, you will need a key. The controls that restore power to Nuka-World are hidden behind this door. Only the boss who betrays the Sole Survivor in Power Play can get the key (Nisha Mags Black, Mason). After completion of Open Season, the door will remain unlocked. A checkpoint can be found at the base of the hill. This will lead you to Dry Rock Gulch.
Notable loot
- Two full suits of leveled armor are located in the basement. The other is in the maintenance facility to the southeast. Both can be accessed via Advanced locked terminals.
- Fusion Cores – Pre-installed in power armors discussed above.
- Nuka Power recipe – On the desk with the pool table, and the Nuka World Power: Employee Terminal.
- An overdue book – In the basement, in a locker near a skeleton and a comfortable pillow.
- Plant control key – On the boss of a gang who betrays the Sole Survivor during Power Play.
Notes
- Once the power plant is reactivated, all previously inaccessible areas of Nuka-World will be made available. These areas include:
- The elevator leads to the final core in Starport Nuka. This allows the Sole Survivors to use the mainframe terminal for opening the glass case containing Quantum X-01 strength armor.
- The Dry Rock Gulch employee area.
- The secure drinker lab is located in the Nuka Cola bottling facility.
- Old rides like the Ferris Wheel at Kiddie Kingdom or the roller coaster at Nuka–Galaxy are still available.
- Nuka – World Red Rocket Settlement Workshop access. This is located east of the Nuka–Cola bottling station.
Appearances
Only the Fallout 4 add-on Nuka-World has the Nuka-World power station.

- Employee Communications entry – 4/28 Meltdown: “What the HELL happened? Last week we submitted a complete report explaining all the failures that led to contamination. WHY WAS THE PARK NOT OPENED EARLIER?
- RE: 4/28 Meltdown entry: “To all employees: After consulting our Corporate Offices, and careful examination of the events, it has been determined that on-site evaluation of the Class 7 event was performed incorrectly, and that the incident was not nearly as severe as initially feared. The Company assured us everything was great and we will have a great season. We ask that you carefully read pages 94-107 in your Employee Agreement regarding the dissemination of information about your work at the parks. They would like to remind everyone that discussing any park events is against the agreement and could lead to administrative action. Let’s make this a great year, everyone! “
