RTC Connecting Discord

Discord allows gamers to send and receive SMS messages using a chat app. They can also communicate using voice channels. They might experience errors when connecting to voice channels such as “Discord No Route”, or “RTC Connecting Discord”, among others.

Discord’s support page explains how voice connection problems can be caused by:

  • Discord is impossible
  • RTC Connecting Discord
  • ICE Checking

There are many types of errors. However, they all have the same causes. These errors all have the same causes and solutions. Each of these issues will be discussed together. YouTube can solve all of these problems by solving the “no sound” problem.

Here’s how to do it. This article will help you understand it all. This article contains discord spoiler photos. ||

How can you tell if there’s a problem?

If you are wondering how to check if the problem is still on your discord or not then just open https://test.webrtc.org/ and see whether you see some error or not.

In this article, we will discuss various ways to solve the problem. It is recommended that you visit the website mentioned above and confirm that the problem has been resolved

Before we can find a solution, let’s first talk about the problem.

What is Discord No Route? RTC Connecting Discord? ICE Checking.

We don’t know what caused Discord No Route or RTC Connecting Discord and ICE Checking Error. We talked to community members who had experienced this error and came up with several possibilities.

  • Discord will not work with VPNs that don’t support UDP Connection.
  • Your resources are now stuck due to the fact that your IP address has changed.
  • Your network administrator has blocked the discord.
  • Third-party firewalls or antiviruses are blocking Discord connections
  • Your network does not support QOS
  • The voice area of the server is not compatible

Discord cannot be solved

We know that you want to solve the problem, and not fix it. Some people aren’t interested in solving the problem themselves. I won’t get into the details about the causes. Let’s move on to “Discord No Route”, RTC Connecting Discord and “ICE Checking”.

Solution 1: Restart Computers & Routers

Yes, that’s right. Restarting your computer is the best solution to most computer problems, even though it sounds absurd. Restarting your router and computer takes only 2-3 minutes, even if it doesn’t solve the problem.

The problem can be fixed by restarting your router or computer. Your device’s dynamic IP (frequently changing IP) can cause problems such as “Discord No Route”, RTC Connecting Discord and “ICE Checking”,

  • Go to Start->Power->Restart to restart your computer.
  • If you want to feel more like a computer expert, restart the computer in these ways:
  • Start the run command. To start the run command, press Control + R on your keyboard
  • Once the run dialog is open, press “cmd” and hit enter.
  • After opening cmd type “shutdown/r”, and hit Enter. Your computer will restart when you type /r.
  • Alternativly you can also type “shutdown/r”, in Step 2, after you have opened your run dialog.
  • Restart your computer and then restart the router. Just unplug your router and plug it in to the main power supply.

Solution 2: Verify your VPN

RTC connecting to Discord, ICE error Section and Reason for Discord No Routing are just a few examples. They can also be caused by a VPN connection that does not support UDP. If you have VPN connections, it is best to disconnect VPN.

After disconnecting from VPN, open discord app and confirm that it displays the Discord No Route or RTC Connecting Discord.

VPNs may be required to access restricted areas or to protect your privacy. VPNs that support UDP connections are highly recommended for those who need VPNs. These VPNs are highly recommended:

  • Nord VPN
  • Surfshark VPN
  • Express VPN
  • CyberGhost VPN
  • IpVanish VPN
  • Private VPN

Discord will accept any of the VPNs listed above.

Solution 3: Clearing DNS

A number of our community members reported that their DNS was permanently flushed after they had experienced discord no route or RTC connection issues. Others suggested that they should flush their DNS frequently to fix the problem.

Flushing DNS is able to resolve discord no routing and RTC connecting discords. It deletes all cache files the operating system may have stored. This includes the logs of websites visited.

It doesn’t matter how long it takes to resolve the most frustrating Discord issue. Follow these steps to flush your DNS.

Open the run command as in the previous step. Press “Control + R” on the keyboard to do this.

Once you have opened the run enter “cmd”

After the cmd. Once the cmd.

This will do it to flush your DNS. To confirm that the problem is solved, go back to discord. Continue to the next step if the problem does not go away.

A new IP address is assigned

Our discord does not have RTC linking discord, ICE error, or route because of IP Address. We can assign a new IP to our machine in order to test the fix.

Here are the steps to assigning a new IP address.

Open the run command as in the previous step. Press “Control + R” on the keyboard to do this.

Once you have opened the run enter “cmd”

Once the cmd is open, type “ipconfig/release”, and hit Enter. This will delete the current IP address from your computer.

In the screenshot, you can clearly see that there are no “Connection-specific DNS Suficixes” or “Default Gateway”. This is because our IP Adress was just released

  • After you have released your IP Address, enter “ipconfig/renew”.
  • You are now all set. Now you can open discord to check if the problem is solved.
  • After steps 3 and 4, flush the DNS to ensure there are no cache leftovers from the old IP.
  • If this doesn’t solve your problem, you can move on to the next step.

Solution 4: Modify your browser

Browser issues could be responsible for Discord no route or RTC linking discords, as well as ICE checking error. It is a good idea if you have Discord installed and experience the problem to check your browser.

If you are having trouble with your browser, switch to another browser or Desktop application.

Client applications are responsible for about 80% of all the problems. Change the browser or application to fix the problem. Next, uninstall the browser or application and reinstall it.

Solution 5: Verifying QoS

High Quality Package is used to transmit audio by Discords. The Quality of Service (QoS) is sometimes not available for some routers. This can lead to discord no route or RTC linking discord. This problem can be solved by disabling Discord QoS.

  • These steps will enable Discord QoS to be disabled
  • Open discord and click on the setting tab near your username.
  • Next, click “Voice & Video” on the left-hand panel.
  • Scroll down until you see the “Enable Quality Service high priority” option.

After you have disabled QoS, reconnect to your channel in discord. Now you should be able fix the RTC, discord connection error or ICE checking problem.

If the problem persists we will need verify that Discord has not been disabled by the Network Manager.

Solution 6: Checking Network Manager and Changing DNS

If you’re at school, college or work, the Network Manager might have disabled or blocked Discord usage. This will stop Discord being used in school or at work

A simple DNS trick can easily get around this. Although Discord is not blocked by Network Admin, Discord can sometimes be unable to connect due DNS issues. You can fix this by switching to Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS.

  • Google DNS:
  • Preferred: 8.8.8.8
  • Alternate: 8.8.4.4
  • OpenDNS
  • Preferred: 208.67.222.222
  • Alternate: 208.67.220.220
  • Cloudflare DNS
  • Preferred: 1.1.1.1
  • Alternate: 1.0.0.1

Above, I mentioned DNS for a known provider. These DNS can be used for Discord issues. These steps will allow you to change your DNS settings on Windows 10.

Open the Control Panel. You can do this by typing “Control Panel” in the search bar or running.

Double-click “Internet Protocol Version 4” in the properties window

In the DNS section, select “Use this DNS Server Address”. Enter any DNS address you like. This tutorial will use Cloudflare DNS.

To confirm that the DNS server has been changed successfully, click on “OK”.

After changing the DNS server, I recommend that you restart your computer. Next, flush your DNS and assign a new Ip address.

Once you have resolved the DNS server problem discord no route or RTC connection discord, it’s time to resolve the ICE error. If this does not resolve the problem, you can continue to the next step.

Solution 7: Disable Third Party Antivirus & Whitelist Discord in Windows Firewall

Third-party antivirus should be removed from Windows 10. It will slow down your computer. Window Defender is superior to any third-party antivirus.

If you don’t use Windows 10, Discord needs to be whitelisted by your antivirus. Different antiviruses follow different procedures. Check out the FAQ section of the antivirus website. Comment below to let us know how you can whitelist the application that you mention. This article will discuss whitelisting in Windows Defender.

Click on the Start menu and then on the Setting Gear icon at the top.

In the settings, click on “Update security”.

Next, click Window Defender and then “Open Window Defender Security Centre”.

Click the small wifi signal on the left, then click “Allow File Through Firewall”.

Once the Setting dialog has been opened, click on “Change Settings” and then search Discord. Once you’ve found the discord, click on “Change Settings” and then tick the box for Private. That’s it!

This should fix the Discord no routing error, RTC-connected discord error or ICE error. If you see an error message, you can check your connection by following the steps above. This article will show you how to verify your connection.

Please leave a comment below if you continue to see the discord no route error or RTC connecting discor error. We’ll be able to investigate the issue further and figure out how to fix it. If you found this article useful, please comment below.
